Jeremy Diller has created a piece of wall art in the form of a Celtic Cross. There is a copper hook on the back so you may hang this pretty cross on the wall.
This Raku pottery cross is formed from raw clay. It is painted by hand, then fired in an outdoor kiln to 2,000 degrees. Red hot, it is plunged into a pit with mesquite shavings lighting a blaze. The flames engulfing this piece of art give it its unique flashes of color, making it one-of-a-kind. Only the strongest survive the trial by fire.
Designed and signed by Jeremy Diller of Tecate, CA.
Note: every piece of raku pottery varies slightly. The firing process, and the fact that each piece is hand-molded means each is one-of-a-kind!
